In the last few decades, technological advances have enabled bio-remedies to target every level of hydrocarbon and eliminate them in a very rapid timeframe, and we at Boldwater employ a state-of-the-art bio-solution in our Bio-Remediation services. Using our all-natural enzyme solution, we can virtually erase any hydrocarbon-related activity and return the area to its native condition.
Because Boldwater's process eliminates the need for transporting hazardous drilling waste to a dumping facility, we eliminate on average 70 heavy-haul trucks for every drilling project. This improves local air quality by avoiding combustion emissions associated with truck traffic as well as the high maintenance and (typically bi-annual) rebuilding of roads.
Boldwater's Drilling Waste Handling processes are engineered and designed to manage and reduce costs and provide greater overall value for the Operator.
Boldwater's on-site recycling of solid drilling waste provides a regulated, high quality flexible base material for lease and ranch roads, county roads, and operational pad sites that will offset purchases of commercial or locally excavated base material.
When drilling wastes are recycled by Boldwater and reused as defined and pre-approved by regulations, there is no ongoing liability. Therefore, the need for associated liability reserves, insurance, or entries on the company balance sheet is reduced. Shareholders will support companies that structure their operations to protect the environment.
Oil & gas field operations include numerous activities and day to day processes that have the potential of generating a hydrocarbon-based spill that would contaminate topsoil, flexible road base material and even ponds, streams and waterways. Boldwater treatment capabilities using our all-natural solution provides a rapid response and eco-friendly way to treat and elliminate hydrocarbon spills without further damage to plants, animals, livestock, or property.
Boldwater recognizes that in some cases, oil & gas operators utilize reserve pits to store and hold drilling wastes. As part of regulated pit closures, Boldwater specializes in treatment programs to support authorized pit closures based on the waste characterization of the material. We also offer to reclaim old pits locations and recycle these previously buried drilling wastes. Boldwater’s eco-friendly processes rapidly eliminate hydrocarbon contamination and return the job site to environmental compliance in a cost-effective manner.
Our specialized enzyme treatment actively degrades hydrocarbons and effectively decontaminates the solid waste material alongside the drilling operation in an efficient time frame.
President & CEO
As the owner, President, and CEO of both Boldwater USA and Boldwater Environmental Solutions, Mark has taken the concept of bio-remediation and redefined the technologies and processes being used today to offer highly sustainable natural solutions with a 100% successful history of rapidly and economically cleaning up any hydrocarbon contamination.
Mark manages the day-to-day operations of both the technology developments as well as the hydrocarbon bio-remediation and recycling services. Mark has dedicated more than 35 years in the oil and gas industry across the oil & gas and midstream industries.
Mark holds a Bachelor of Science in Natural Gas & Chemical Engineering from Texas A&M University Kingsville, TX.
We, at Boldwater, are proud to boast a 100% success rate on every project we have consulted. As a permitted entity, we are held to very high standards and we have not only met these standards on every project, but have surpassed them.
Every project is unique and therefore we approach each endeavor from an engineering standpoint. We remain flexible for changes and adjust as necessary to not only meet necessary regulatory criteria, but also exceed the goals and cost expectations of our clients. We keep safety foremost on a daily basis and have developed loyal clients and partners in the industry.
Boldwater's patent pending process is by far the most efficient method in Bio-Remediating hydrocarbon presence in solid waste.
